An avatar doesn’t have to look like you or even a person. What it is for, is to represent you. If your pet pomeranian ‘represents’ you well, then use her picture! This page will tell you how to change your avatar.
- Click on ‘My Account’ and then ‘Profile’. You will be taken to a screen with three options; Public, Edit Profile, Change Avatar.
- Click on ‘Change Avatar’.
- Choose how you will select an avatar. If you have a Gravatar account, you can use that option, if you’d like.
- Otherwise, click on the blank area beside ‘Browse’. This will take you to your computer where you can find a picture that you can upload to MyMilitarySocial.
- Click on ‘Upload Image’.
- Choose how you want the image cropped. You can grow the square or move it. Select what you want and then click ‘Crop Image’.
- See if the result is what you expected. If not, try again.
